The apartment buildings along Franklin Ave and Los Feliz Blvd are mostly older courtyard buildings with a locked street door, so a unit number and a phone number are both needed.

Above Los Feliz Blvd the streets climb quickly and turn narrow — the roads off Cromwell, Bonvue and Glendower have almost no parking and many houses sit up a flight of steps from the street. Our courier calls from the car rather than leaving flowers at the bottom of a staircase.
