Questions about new baby flowers
What flowers do you send for a new baby?
Soft and unscented. Blue or pink hydrangea, white roses, alstroemeria and lisianthus all work. Skip anything heavily perfumed — a newborn’s room is a small space.
Can you deliver to a maternity ward?
Yes, with the patient name and room or department. Many maternity units accept flowers where intensive care units do not, but it is worth a call to the ward first. A basket arrangement is easier for staff than a wrapped bouquet.
Can I send flowers to the home instead?
Often the better choice — hospital stays after a birth are short. Deliver to the home a few days later, when the household has settled and someone is actually there to receive it.
Can I add a gift to the flowers?
Yes. Chocolates and vases can go in the same cart and arrive together in one delivery.
