About this bouquet

Peach garden roses, one variety only. A mono-bouquet lives or dies on the quality of the single flower in it, so we build these from whatever came in best that morning rather than to a fixed count. Kahala sits between apricot and dusty pink and changes noticeably as it opens, going paler and warmer toward the end of the week.

Who this one suits

An anniversary is the one occasion where size is read as intent, so this sits in the range that lands as considered rather than casual.

As a romantic gift it says what it needs to without a card having to explain it.

At 100 stems this needs a wide, heavy vase rather than a tall narrow one — a slim vase will not hold the spread, and the weight of the heads will tip it.

Caring for garden roses

Garden roses carry many more petals than a standard rose and open into a full cup over two to three days. That is when they look their best. Re-cut the stems at an angle before they go in water, strip any leaves that would sit below the waterline, and change the water every other day. Expect five to seven good days — a little shorter than standard roses, in exchange for a fuller flower.

Built and delivered the same day on orders placed before 1:00 PM, seven days a week. No charge in North Hollywood, Toluca Lake and Studio City; a flat $14 in Burbank, Glendale and Van Nuys. Every area with prices.

Every order includes a handwritten card in a sealed envelope, and we photograph the finished bouquet and send you the picture before the courier leaves. Built by hand at our Studio City studio on the day it is delivered.
