About this bouquet

Stock in lavender, on its own. Stock is the flower people remember by smell rather than by sight — sweet and slightly spicy, close to clove. It drinks hard, so change the water every day or two and re-cut the stems each time, and it will hold seven to ten days. Best in a hall or living room where the scent has somewhere to go.

Who this one suits

For a promotion, a new home or a graduation it is upright and cheerful, and it survives being carried across an office or handed over at a ceremony.

For someone unwell, keep it out of a shared ward if the flowers are scented, and ask us for a box arrangement instead of a wrap so ward staff are not hunting for a vase.

40 stems fills a medium cylinder vase comfortably. If you are sending it somewhere that may not own one, add a vase to the cart and we arrange the flowers in it before it goes out.

Caring for stock flowers

Stocks are heavily scented and they drink hard. Change the water every day or two — more often than you would for roses — and re-cut the stems each time. Seven to ten days. Because of the scent they are lovely in a hall or a living room, and a poor choice for a hospital room where other patients share the air.

Every order includes a handwritten card in a sealed envelope, and we photograph the finished bouquet and send you the picture before the courier leaves. Built by hand at our Studio City studio on the day it is delivered.
