The petals run from blush at the edge to a creamy beige at the centre, so the colour changes as the flower opens — it looks pink on arrival and closer to caramel by day four. A mono-bouquet of a graded rose like this reads as more considered than a mixed arrangement at the same price.

At 100 stems this needs a wide, heavy vase rather than a tall narrow one — a slim vase will not hold the spread, and the weight of the heads will tip it.

Caring for roses

Re-cut the stems at an angle before putting them in water and strip any leaves that would sit below the waterline — submerged leaves are what turns water cloudy and shortens the life of a bouquet. Change the water every other day and keep the vase out of direct sun and away from a heating vent. Ours hold seven to ten days that way.

Every order includes a handwritten card in a sealed envelope, and we photograph the finished bouquet and send you the picture before the courier leaves. Built by hand at our Studio City studio on the day it is delivered.
