About this bouquet

Twelve pink roses, twelve cream carnations and two white hydrangeas. The two hydrangea heads are structural — they give the bouquet its width and let the roses sit forward rather than crowding each other. The carnations then carry it into a second week after the roses have finished, which is unusual at this size.

Who this one suits

As a romantic gift it says what it needs to without a card having to explain it.

For a promotion, a new home or a graduation it is upright and cheerful, and it survives being carried across an office or handed over at a ceremony.

12 stems suits a standard cylinder vase. Trim a little off the stems every couple of days as you change the water and it will hold its shape longer.

Caring for roses

Re-cut the stems at an angle before putting them in water and strip any leaves that would sit below the waterline — submerged leaves are what turns water cloudy and shortens the life of a bouquet. Change the water every other day and keep the vase out of direct sun and away from a heating vent. Ours hold seven to ten days that way.

Caring for hydrangeas

Hydrangeas drink through their petals as well as their stems, so a light mist of water on the heads keeps them firm. If a head wilts, submerge the whole flower in cool water for twenty minutes and it usually comes back. Re-cut the thick stems at a steep angle so they can take up water. Five to seven days indoors.

Every order includes a handwritten card in a sealed envelope, and we photograph the finished bouquet and send you the picture before the courier leaves. Built by hand at our Studio City studio on the day it is delivered.
